christmas card step by step
How to do it
Cut a piece of red cardboard (9,5x 19cm). Fold at the middle and punch a heart in the lowest right corner.
This is how the punch and placing looks like.
Take the back cover of the paper lace border and pull it thru the heart.
Punch a heart in white mother of pearl paper.
Cut at piece of mother of pearl paper size 4 x 8,5cm (place the heart with a 1 cm margin to the top edge, and 1½ cm to the right and to the left edge).
Then add the mother of pearl piece to the card with double-side adhesive tape.
Pull the checked ribbon thru the white heart and fasten with double-side adhesive tape.
Make a hole with a needle, and add the brad.
Cut a piece of white cardboard (9 x 9cm) and put it on the back side of the card with double-side adhesive tape.
Tip: Give the punches a 3D effect by lifting the arches of the heart a little bit up from the card.
Christmas card with a tree
Punch the border in stars out of the card front side.
Cut a piece of music notes vellum paper (10, 5 x 20cm). Fold at the middle.
Glue the music notes vellum paper on to the card with double-side adhesive tape.
Cut 2 squares. One in red cardboard (6,5 x 6,5cm). And one in white mother of pearl(4 x 4cm).
Glue the paper lace border on the backside of the red square.
Then glue the 2 squares onto the card with double-side adhesive tape. The red first and then the white.
Punch a Christmas tree out in 2 sizes and 2 colours with the paper punches.
Add the largest Christmas with double-side adhesive tape and the small one with 3D pads.
Tie a little piece of checked ribbon around the legs of the brad. Make a hole with a needle and put the brad thru.
Cut a square in red cardboard (12,5 x 12,5cm ) and glue it on the back side of the cards front side with double-side adhesive tape.
